Early morning train delays at the Babylon branch

The MTA police reported around 5:30am, there were train delays at the Babylon branch due to a fatality. This is by Railroad Avenue in Amityville on the westbound to Manhattan route.

ESU removed the body of a male from the scene.

The medical examiner transported the body to conduct an autopsy.

There were delays due to power shut off at the station and was restored around 9am.

As of now, there are no delays on the LIRR at the same area.

The investigation continues.
