Drivers buildings and now deer in Nassau County

The NCPD reported this morning around 5:30am, a single vehicle accident resulted in a fatality on Northern Blvd in Manhasset.

This is in front of the Quaker Meeting House near Shelter Rock Road where the driver lost control and hit the building which resulted in flames. The medical examiner transported the body of a male to conduct an autopsy.

The same in the afternoon, another driver lost control and hit a building. This time it's in Oceanside in the vicinity of Oceanside Road and Ohio Lane near the temple.

Another incident has Northern Blvd closed in Roslyn after a driver struck a deer. This is by Penny Pond Road. Animal control is working on the scene along with the EMS for the driver and others involved in the vehicle.

All incidents are under investigation.
