Driver dead after losing vehicle control in Brentwood

Police reported Brian McLaughlin, 33 of Bay Shore died after collision in Brentwood.

The incident happened around 2:30am in front of 7-Eleven, 260 Motor Parkway.

McLaughlin was driving a 2016 Jeep Cherokee when it lost control and hit the store. He died at the scene.

Ongoing investigation.
