Domestic violence turned into deadly stabbing in Flushing

Police were called to a private home, 43-67 161 Street in Flushing reporting of domestic violence which turned into multiple stabbing around 3:30 am. Multiple children and their parents were inside the house which was converted into a daycare center. 

The suspect, a 52 year old woman stabbed three infants and two adults. Then she went hiding in the basement where police found her with slashed wrists. The stabbed were two girls, one boy, a man who was the father of one children and another female who was working there caring for children. Another group of children and their parents went into hiding after the rampage and they were not harmed. "Three of the injured were infants ranging from the age of three days to 1-month-old," Juanita Holmes, assistant chief of the New York City Police Department, said at a press conference later Friday morning. Also reported it was an unlicensed maternity center operating also as unregulated post-partum centers and not a daycare center from the press statement. 

The birthing center had no medical facility. Each child cost was $4,500 per month from birth to growth stage. Also, sources reported many women giving birth were illegals and wanted their babies to be American citizens.
