Domestic violence resulted two stabbing and one in custody at Old Bethpage

Second Squad detectives report the arrest of an Old Bethpage man for an incident that occurred on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at 12:20 pm in Old Bethpage.

According to detectives, Myron Mycio, 24, of 55 Barry Lane S. became involved in a domestic dispute with his parents, a 62 year old male and a 61 year old female. As a result of the disturbance, Mycio stabbed both of his parents with a knife.

Upon police arrival Mycio was located in the home and placed under arrest. Both victims were transported to an area hospital where they were treated for non-life threatening wounds.

Mycio is charged with two (2) counts of Assault 2nd Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th Degree. He will be arraigned in First District Court, Hempstead on 1/27/2020. (From NCPD)
