Domestic violence leads to female shot in Long Island and chase in Whitestone

Police reported a man shot a female in the head in Farmingville. Then took off in a vehicle toward Nassau with chase by police. Then the chase continued to Queens. The vehicle was stopped on Whitestone Expressway and Linden Place in Whitestone. The man shot himself in the head. Police have closed off the road for investigation. Both are taken to hospitals in serious condition. Chopper was hovering above also after the nearly hour chase.
