Desperate announcement from the Governor

Queens Village, Bellerose and Glen Oaks prep alert.

A new love is coming to subways after the election is only two weeks away for the NY Governor. With transit crimes up almost 50% this year, both the Governor and Mayor announced a new initiative, cops, cameras and care which will improve the safety of subways and mass transit. 1,200 cops will be added to 300 stations during peak schedule. Those with mental issues living in the subways will be moved to a special ward for treatments and release when ready.

This is under state jurisdiction and one of the locations is on Winchester Blvd and Union Turnpike.

A budget of $27.5 will be allotted for the program and another $9 million will be used for staff to help those with mental issues.

Residents of Queens Village, Bellerose and Glen Oaks can welcome them with love.
