Delays on Lexington Avenue

Police reported around 3:30pm, a victim wa struck by train and died. This is at the first stop of Lexington Avenue and 59th Street in Manhattan from Queens. Delays on the Queens bound trains.

The medical examiner transported the body pending autopsy.

4,5,6 lines affected due to powet shut off in both directions.

Around the same time on Lexington Avenue and East 96th Street, a school crossing guard was struck by vehicle. EMS transported the victim to a local hospital. The vehicle remains on the scene.

Both incidents are under investigation.
