Debt too high need to charge more people in NYC

NYC is broke but who is worrying!

Today, the NYC has released the November 2025 Financial Plan update, increasing the FY2026 budget to $118.2 billion and strengthening its public-safety efforts. The new budget added 5,000 cops after the current ones are leaving jobs. Then for 30,000 caregiver programs to help locals.

Congratulations to NYC. According to the NYC Comptroller's Office, the new debt before the year end is $104 billion. Where did all the money go? Nobody knows!

One summary is clear for the new NYC - It's becoming a big government machine. The bigger it becomes the more influence it gains with people looking to get elected to dry sheep by charging more and more.

The biggest spending goes for transportation which is MTA of course followed by public assistance including housing, food, medical and all other comfort vouchers. The third one is non profits which rakes in billions and billions for anything goes causes.

Under then Mayor Rudy Guiliani, the budget was just $43 billion which was less than the entire state of Florida at $52 billion.

Under the current Mayor, the debt left is $4.7 billion extra which is due to the migrant crisis.

The NYS Comptroller's Office says if the budget reaches $200 billion which is the goal then debt will be over $300 due to the Trump Admin.

Now let’s wait and watch the new incoming Mayor and the budget.

Don't ask how or why on your money but behave and pay your taxes.
