Dead body floating in Newtown Creek

Police reported a dead body floating in Newtown Creek in Maspeth. A 911 call prompted investigation and the body is of male. This is at 43rd Street and 57th Avenue. The city's medical examiner is on the scene pending to transport the body for autopsy. Ongoing investigation.
Update - The body is of the missing woman identified as Czeslawa Konefal, 76 who was last seen on February 9.
