Corona continue to be crime plagued area

Police are at 108th Street by 62nd Avenue reporting a male shot. This was a drive by shooting involving road rage. A male, 50 was taken to the hospital with bullets. This is near Flushing Meadows Corona Park. As of yesterday, more than 100 people were victims of thefts, robberies and assaults in Corona, the highest in Queens. Jackson Heights also reported robberies from late night to early morning. All incidents involving a knife robbing people. The latest incident was reported on 81st Street by 37th Avenue around 5am on Friday. More outreach programs are needed thereby lack the funding to spread love over violence.
