Cops never give up on cold cases

A case has been issued to Detective Salerno for the Nassau County Homicide after a press statement today from the Commissioner.

This is involving a homicide that occurred on November 4, 1982 at 3:42pm in Freeport. Cops responded to North Main Street for a body of a female found in the trash container. Since then, there was no identity of the victim until new technology and now identified as a Hollis, Queens woman who was 15 at the time of disappearance.

There is a $25,000 reward for any information related to the case leading to an arrest.

This case will be ongoing until solved.
