Community Board approved Lowe s to Douglaston Plaza

On February 5, the Community Board 11 that oversees the area's zoning has approved Lowe's to allocate the former location of Macy's inside Douglaston Shopping Center. The location is covered with 15,000 square feet Lowe's can use. 12 members of the board opposed while 18 voted in favor. The next step is to get approval from NYC Board of Standards and Appeals which is located at Queensboro President's Office in Kew Gardens.
