Child struck by vehicle in South Ozone Park

Police closed off Lefferts Blvd and Rockaway Blvd in South Ozone Park reporting a child struck by vehicle. It happened after 3pm. The 10 year old male child is in critical condition at a local hospital. The driver is in custody. Highway CIS is working on the scene. Ongoing investigation.
