Carjacking reported on Jamaica Avenue

On Saturday, February 22 around 8pm, a victim while waiting for the red light at the intersection of Jamaica Avenue and Parsons Blvd was robbed of the vehicle. The carjacking incident alerted bystanders to call 911. The suspect, male, black took off with the vehicle toward south and then Archer Avenue where the vehicle was dumped before disappearing. The victim was taken to a local hospital with injuries. Ongoing investigation.
