Car crash with one dead on the Belt Parkway

Heavy NYPD on the Belt Parkway repeating a car crash with one dead. This is on the westbound near Lefferts Blvd enroute the JFK.

ESU is working to remove the body and the medical examiner is standing by to transport the body to conduct an autopsy.

This was a result of the vehicle went into the side and hit a tree.

EMS is checking for injuries involved.

Delays on the westbound and eastbound due to onlookers.

Ongoing investigation.
