Burglary investigation in Nassau County

The NCPD reported burglary at a home in North Hills. The incident was reported on March 22 around 8:10pm at a residence on Links Drive South. Police confirmed this was a target burglary.

The homeowner was out to a dinner in the city when his nanny called to tell him that the back door of the residence had been smashed. The nanny was home with the victims two children, and none of them heard the door break. Upon returning to the residence, the homeowner realized his safe had been taken. The investigation is ongoing.
