Burglaries are on the rise from Glen Oaks to Douglaston

Police reported burglaries in Douglaston. The recent one is at Morenci Lane and 50th Avenue on August 16 around 1am. On August 11 around 2am on Hanford Street and 47th Avenue. In Glen Oaks, multiple attempts reported on 73rd Avenue and 263rd Street. On August 9 around 9pm, police reported burglary at an apartment on 73rd Avenue and 263rd Street. On August 8 around 5am the same incident reported on Overbrook Street and 53rd Avenue. All incidents are under investigation.
