Brown water crisis on Union Turnpike in Bellerose

FDNY were called multiple times on Union Turnpike between 247 and 251 Streets in Bellerose reporting of brown water from both residential and commercial buildings. There is a construction on Union Turnpike eastbound after 248 Street replacing pipes. The city's Dept of Environmental Protection is monitoring the situation.
