Bronx man arrested at westminster dog show for burglary and larceny charges

On January 31, 2026, Investigators from Troop NYC Manhattan Criminal Squad arrested Allan Jackson (60), of the Bronx, for multiple cases of burglary, grand larceny, petit larceny, and false personation.

While assigned to the Westminster Dog Show at the Jacob Javits Center, investigators observed a male who fit the description of a suspect who was wanted for several thefts at the Convention Center.  The male, who unsuccessfully attempted to enter the ticketed show, purported a false identity when he was approached and questioned by the investigators.

 

The male, Allan Jackson, was placed under arrest for three previous incidents dating back to November of 2025, as well as the false personation.  He was transported to the NYPD 10th Precinct for processing and then taken to Manhattan Central Booking to be arraigned on the following charges at a later date:

Burglary 3rd Degree, a class D felony

Grand Larceny 4th Degree, a class E felony (2 Counts)

Petit Larceny, a class A misdemeanor

False Personation, a class B misdemeanor
