Body found of a female on Long Island identified

The body of a female that was found on Monday in Llyod Harbor has been identified. The 32 year old resident of Oyster Bay was missing with cops conducting search.

The original report was released on March 20 around 8pm after cops received calls of a woman jumped out of a moving vehicle and ran off in panic. Police say surveillance footage shows the last known location in Oyster Bay.

Her husband said she was in a distressed state when she exited the car, threw her phone into a bush, and disappeared.

The Nassau County Police Department has been actively involved in the search, using helicopters and drones to cover the area.

The investigation continues.
