Blue Lives Matter mural wanted in front of Police Plaza

After Black Lives Matter murals, police groups submitted their proposal to the NYC Mayor's office for Blue Lives Matter mural in front of Police Plaza in downtown Manhattan. The alternative location is Broadway at 45 Street. This is to honor 30 police officers killed in the line of duty this year and quotes, "We would like to raise awareness regarding preventable murders of those who swore an oath to serve and protect their communities, and honor the lives and memory of public servants whose heroic lives ended too soon."
The groups will pay for the mural unlike the taxpayers paid for Black Lives Matter murals and awaiting for the NYC mayor to respond.
