Bike lanes are here to stay in Bayside

Sorry to disappoint Bayside residents and drivers. NYC Dept of Transportation confirmed all bike lanes, both existing and planned for the future are staying in place. Mayor di Blasio reported discussions will take place to show progressive updates and not remove any bike lanes. The biggest controversy lies on Northern Blvd by Alley Pond Environmental Center where constant vehicle accidents are reported. Also reported more bike lanes are planned for northeast Queens.
