Bicycle thefts continue to rise in Glen Oaks

Police reported a young victim was lured by a group and stole his bike. The incident happened on August 28 at 263rd Street near 76th Avenue. On August 22 , bicycles were stolen from 255th Street and 75th Avenue. The same incident also reported on August 18 on 252nd Street and 76th Avenue. Police are advising residents to have locked chains while leaving bicycles outside.
