Bicycle collision on Northern Blvd

Police closed off the intersection of Utopia Parkway and Northern Blvd reporting a collision between a bicyclist and a vehicle. This is in Fresh Meadows. Several witnesses told the police the bicyclist ran the light. EMS is working to transport the bicyclist to a local hospital. The driver remains on the scene and is cooperating with the police.
