Bellerose park has intruders snooping for vehicles to steal

Police reported stolen vehicles within Little Neck Parkway, Jericho Turnpike and Commonwealth Blvd in Bellerose. The latest incident was reported on June 21 around 10am when a vehicle was stolen on 86th Avenue and 251 Street. Several residents reported of people hanging around in the public park on 85th Avenue and 249 Street late night. Police only issue tickets if seen inside public parks after 9pm.
