Bellerose noted two paths for robberies

The NYPD reported robberies continue to spike on two paths in Bellerose. One is Union Turnpike and the other is Hillside Avenue. Jericho Turnpike reported the next path.

Most of the incidents occurred during evening time when victims were walking or exiting the public buses.

EMS reported no major injuries so far but plenty of shaken with emotions.

Since all three paths are mandatory for local residents to commute to work and come home, police are advising all to use ride share apps for safety.

Meanwhile, the Governor stated the priorities for safety is subways due to congestion pricing and all the resources are needed for that. The next task is public buses with more lane closures to add bus lanes and camera enforcement for drivers.

NY is the most taxed state under works to increase the budget to $300 billion.
