Bath resident arrested for aggravated sexual assault and providing alcohol to minor

On August 4, 2025, at approximately 7:00 p.m., the New York State Police at Bath received a complaint reporting the sexual assault of a juvenile female.

An investigation conducted by the State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) determined that on the evening of July 30, 2025, the suspect, identified as Coby R. Causer, age 25, of Bath, NY, allegedly provided alcohol to a minor and engaged in sexual contact with the victim.
