Basement to shed and other fires in Queens

The FDNY reported a basement fire on Roosevelt Avenue. This is by 90th Street in Elmhurst at a commercial and residential mixed lot.

EMS transported the injured to local hospitals.

Around 5pm, a brush fire reported on Metropolitan Avenue by Alderton Street in Rego Park behind the retail stores.

A kitchen fire reported in the vicinity of 65th Place and 53rd Avenue which occurred around 5pm in Maspeth. At the same time, a house fire reported on 189th Street by 119th Avenue in St Albans.

Around 3pm a garage fire broke out of a hardware store in Bellerose. This is on Jericho Turnpike by 248 Street.

The cause of fire for all incidents are under investigation.
