Basement fire at a home in Long Island

Firefighters reported fire at 790 Broadway. This is a private dwelling in Woodmere, Nassau County. The fire started in the basement around 3pm. By 3:30pm, the fire was brought under control. EMS reported minor injuries. Firefighters are investigation to what caused the fire.
