Bank robbery in Garden City

The NCPD is investigating a robbery that occurred on Monday, February 14, 2022 at 9:56 am in Garden City.

According to police, a male suspect, white entered the People’s United Bank located at 106 7th Street. The suspect approached the teller and presented her with a note demanding money. The teller complied and the subject fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of US currency.

The suspect is described as 40-50 years old, 6’0” tall with a thin build. The suspect was wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.

Police believe this is the same suspect robbed the Mineola bank earlier. Ongoing investigation.
