BOE issued certificate for DA winner

The Board of Election has issued certification of the winner of Queens District Attorney primary race. Her name is Melinda Katz and she is having a victory party tonight. Meanwhile, Tiffany Caban will have to wait for the court date, August 6 for her hearing of 104 invalidated votes by BOE to be counted as valid. Katz won by 60 votes over Caban. On the Republican side, there are no human being to run for the race against Katz. It's empty for now. The next step is send the papers to Albany for certificate of number of results.
