Attempted carjacking with shots fired in Nassau County

Police closed off Jerusalem Avenue in Bellmore reporting a pursuit. The suspect, female, black fired multiple shots in the air during carjacking attempt.

Shortly the suspect was apprehended near Bellmore Avenue by police.

ESU recovered shell casings.

Cops are looking for bullet victims.

EMS attending to all involved in the attempted carjacking.
