Ask a POTUS to receive help for NYC migrant crisis

The NYC Mayor is heading to DC to meet with Fed officials for support, especially funding for the migrant crisis in the city from the open border south.

Meanwhile the Governor is working on more locations statewide properties except Long Island where a group of legislatures are still firm against housing and shelter plans.

The Governor's plan to add more housing in Long Island overriding the local zoning laws was nixed by local elected officials and state legislators. The locals and not the state government should be in charge of housing strategies and no mandates can be overridden without majority support.

As for NYC, well, the City Council, State Assembly and Senate are in majority support of the Governor's decisions due to one party so it's ongoing to add more locations without objections.

The next locations are in the LaGuardia Airport vicinity pending details. As for Floyd Bennett Field, the Governor is awaiting approval from the Fed.

As of this week, another 1,800 new migrants arrived in Manhattan processing center before transporting to other locations for a 60 days stay.
