Armed robbery in Nassau County

Police are at Ridge Lane and Brook Lane near the Wantagh State Parkway in Levittown reporting a female was robbed at gunpoint. The suspect, male, black, 5’8”, 20’s followed the female after shopping and took off with items. Last seen in a blue Dodge Challenger heading toward the parkway. ESU and EMS are working on the scene. Ongoing investigation.
