Armed robbery at a deli in Queens Village

Police are reporting armed robbery at 218-60 Hempstead Avenue in Queens Village. It happened around 3pm when a male suspect entered the deli and displayed a gun.

The suspect took off toward Cross Island Parkway. Police described the suspect as male, black, 20's, 5'6" and 160lbs Ongoing investigation.
