Armed robbery at 7 Eleven in Hempstead

The NCPD is investigating a Robbery that occurred on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at 10:25 pm in Hempstead.
According to Robbery Squad Detectives, an unknown male subject entered the 7-11 located at 797 Peninsula Boulevard. The subject approached a store employee and displayed a handgun, demanding money. He then fled the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of US currency. The subject is described as a male black, 6’0” tall, with a thin build.
There were 2 employees and no customers present at the time of the robbery. No injuries were reported. (From NCPD)
