Armed robbery at 7 Eleven in Fresh Meadows

Police reported an armed robbery at the local 7-Eleven in Fresh Meadows. This is on Union Turnpike and 168 Street. It happened around 2:30am. A suspect entered the store and one suspect stated he had a gun by stimulating from the pocket. Then took off with cash.

Around 3:30am, police reported another armed robbery at a gas station in Ridgewood. This is at 90-05 Myrtle Avenue. Three male suspects entered the store with one displaying a gun. Then took off with items.

Both incidents reported on registers taken.

Police reported a group of males are now on the prowl targeting open businesses at night for robberies.
