Another day of slashing incidents with one dead in Queens

The latest slashing incident today in Queens occurred near the local mall where a road rage resulted with a victim slashed. The incident was reported this evening around 6pm on the Long Island Expressway westbound near Queens Blvd. EMS transported the victim to a local hospital. Police say the suspect took off in a Nissan Rogue toward westbound.

This afternoon, a 75 year old male victim was slashed to death in Astoria. The incident was reported around 2pm on 33rd Street near 25th Avenue. The 114th Precinct reported a perp is in custody as of this evening. Police say this was a dispute inside an apartment building between two neighbors.

Yesterday around 5pm, a victim was slashed on Broadway near 48th Street in Sunnyside which has police still searching for the suspect.

All incidents are under investigation.
