Announcement coming soon on the fate of Stop and Shop stores closing

The company that was founded 114 years ago, Stop and Shop will be releasing locations of stores closing in the coming weeks.

According to insiders, the affected stores are between 25 to 50 of the 397 total locations in the northeast part of NY, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island and New Jersey.

One of the main reasons is due to higher costs and inflation which are affecting the underperforming locations.

According to insiders, New Hyde Park won't be affected so relax and keep on shopping there. This location was opened in 2000 and was remodeled in 2021.
