Amazon to open employment center in LIC

The move to have Amazon HQ in Long Island City is going full force as usual despite obstacles from some non-profits and local politicians who prefers the

$500 million dollars in tax fund to be used for public housing and schools. Today, a new announcement was reported of the company to have on-site workforce development employment and training center in Long Island City to hire local recruits.

The plan is similar to a community center where walk-ins are welcome to enroll.
