Amazon Go Grocery opened the first store without cashiers

Amazon Go Grocery opened the first store without cashiers in Seattle on Tuesday morning. This is on Pike Street near their headquarters. Customers will use a phone app and then camera sensors will record all items they pick up and then charge them after they leave the store. The store sells eggs to vegetables in its 10,000 square feet. There are 25 locations nationwide. Currently, Amazon has 4% of the grocery market share. Walmart and 7-Eleven are in the beta stage and will soon launch in real time. Meanwhile fast food such as McDonald's and Burger King are focusing more on deliveries and minimizing indoor facilities for eat-ins.
