All lanes closed in the Belt Parkway westbound

The NYPD is on the Belt Parkway reporting multiple vehicle accident with injuries. This is on the westbound near the Francis Lewis Blvd Exit. EMS reported over five injuries from over ten vehicles involved.

ESU and FDNY are also working on the scene.

Heavy delays all around including eastbound due to onlookers.

Delays are back to the Cross Island Parkway merger.

Avoid the route.
