After Jamaica Rockaways reported 45 guns surrender

The Queens DA's office and NYPD organized "Surrender an Operable Gun". This is the second event for the public to surrender their gun for $200 debit card with no questions asked. The first event was in Jamaica. Yesterday, the second event was held at Macedonia Baptist Church, 330 Beach 67th Street from 10am to 4pm in Far Rockaways where bullet flies at the highest rate in the summer. The event reported 45 guns surrendered while shooting continue to spike in Queens. The DA and NYPD thanks the community for their support and stand against violence according to their statement.
