NYS Assembly member Abinati introduced the bill, A8337 2021-2022. The bill states the following,

Renames the Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge the Governor Mario M. Cuomo Tappan Zee Bridge; renames the Welcome Center at the Westchester Landing for such bridge the Governor Malcolm Wilson Welcome Center.
