A senior citizen robbed in Elmont

The NCPD reported a robbery that happened on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at 5:40 a.m. in Elmont.

According to police, a 60-year-old male victim was entering his vehicle in front of his residence on Fieldmere Street when three unknown male subjects pulled him out of his car. The subjects threw him to the ground then began to kick and punch the victim causing minor injuries. One subject entered the victim’s gray 2022 Honda CRV and the additional two subjects entered their black 2011-2019 Toyota Camry. Both of the vehicles fled southbound on Fieldmere Street towards 106th Avenue. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment and evaluation. There is no further description of the subjects at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
