A pedestrian hit by car dead in Queens

Around 4pm today a 19 year old female was hit by a driver and died at the scene. The incident was reported around 4pm in Far Rockaway.

This is by bus stop at 108th Street and Rockaway Beach Drive.

The driver remained on the scene and is cooperating with the police.

Ongoing investigation.

Update - Police have the driver in custody and stated the driver jumped the curb.
