A new bill introduced to keep the location secret housing migrants

A local NYC Council member from Queens Julie Won introduced a bill to hide the location of where migrants are housed in NYC including Queens.

This came after the NYC Mayor agreed to cooperate with the Trump Administration.

The new bill will prohibit any mayoral agency or office that operates emergency or temporary shelter facilities exclusively serving new arrivals from publicly disclosing the address or location as written by the Councilmember.

The only way to know the location is someone calls ICE or anonymous tip and then a warrant must be issued but this won't hold in federal court.

The NYC Mayor won't sign it even if it passes in the council.
