A man struck by vehicle in Bayside

Police, FDNY, EMS and ESU are at the intersection of 46th Avenue and 215th Place in Bayside reporting vehicle accident with serious injuries involving a pedestrian.

The intersection is closed pending investigation.

A 59 year old male struck by vehicle in serious condition at the hospital.

The driver remained on the scene and is cooperating with the police.

It happened around 11:30am.
