A baby found inside trash at Astoria

Police reported a baby was found in a park behind the building on Crescent Street and 36th Avenue on Saturday around 10:45am. A 911 caller reported of the incident after seeing something moving in a pile of trash. The baby has been taken to Elmhurst Hospital in cardiac arrest. Ongoing investigation. Update, the baby, male, died.
